Hyderabad: Three persons were arrested on the charges of bike theft by the Asifnagar police on Monday. The police recovered eight motorcycles from them.
The arrested persons were S Chandu (18), C Siva Naga Teja (22) and Golla Madhu, receiver of the stolen property. All three were natives of Guntur in Andhra Pradesh. AR Srinivas, DCP (West) said Chandu and Teja learned how to open bike locks using safety pins after watching videos on YouTube.
“They stole sports bikes and sold them to Madhu,” he said, adding that the police were investigating a theft case and had zeroed in on the gang.
