Hyderabad: Three persons who cheated the Registrar of Companies (RoC) by registering companies by furnishing fabricated documents were arrested by the Hyderabad Central Crime Station Police on Friday.
The arrested persons are A Srinivasa Rao (46), N Vijay Krishna (37) and K Vijay Bhaskar Reddy (46), all from Hyderabad.
According to the CCS officials, the trio colluded with one Jolie and Michale, both Chinese nationals and eight others and fraudulently setup 12 fake companies. Using forged signatures of the house owners on the No-Objection Certificates (NOCs) they got the firms registered with the RoC.
“They, further opened 15 bank accounts with fake documents and cheated people in the guise of online investment businesses,” said a senior CCS official.
On verification of two bank accounts, it was found that the suspect had collected about Rs 2.4 crore, and the same was withdrawn by them.
Based on a complaint from the RoC, the CCS police booked a case and arrested their trio, who have been involved in similar case earlier as well.
