Three held in Hyderabad for drug peddling

Hyderabad: The Chaitanyapuri police caught three persons on charges of drug peddling and seized 23 kg of marijuana, a minivan and other material worth Rs 2.2 lakh at Kothapet on Thursday.
The arrested persons were K Veerababu from East Godavari, R Srinivas Rao from Visakhapatnam and B Suresh from Nagarkurnool district. The absconding suspect is Kittu. Police said the suspects procured marijuana from Kittu, a supplier from Rajamundry and transported it to Hyderabad in the minivan.
On a tip-off, the vehicle was intercepted at Kothapet and the suspects held.
