Hyderabad: Three auto-rickshaw drivers, who were arrested by the Afzalgunj police on charges of harassing women passengers, were sentenced to one month of imprisonment each by a local court on Thursday.

The arrested persons were Mohd Javeed (34), Syed Akthar (32) and Mohd Tajuddin (31), all three auto drivers from the auto stand near the Central Bus Station. According to the police, following complaints against the suspects about them abusing and harassing women, separate cases were booked and they were arrested.


They were produced before a local court, which sentenced each of them for one month imprisonment.
