Three killed, 10 injured as bus rams into lorry in Miryalaguda
The police suspect that the driver fell asleep while driving, resulting in the accident.

Nalgonda: Three persons died and 10 others were injured when a private bus rammed into a lorry at Chinthapally crossroads near Miryalaguda in Nalgonda district in the early hours of Tuesday.
The deceased were identified as Meduga Mallikarjun (40), a native of Kallakuntla village in Prakasham district, Kotha Nageshwar Rao(40), a native of Mukhyanavaripalem in Prakasham district and Surabhi Jayaraju(42), a native of Nagulavaram in Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh. The passengers Mallikarjun and Nageshwar Rao died on the spot in the accident. Jayaraju died while undergoing treatment in the area hospital of Miryalaguda.
Circle Inspector of Miryalaguda Town-I police station Sada Nagaraju said that the road accident took place at 3 am, when a private travels bus, which was proceeding to Hyderabad from Ongole, hit a lorry parked on the roadside at Chinthapally crossroad on the outskirts of Miryalaguda. The police suspect that the driver fell asleep while driving, resulting in the accident.
Miryalaguda police rushed to the spot and shifted the injured persons to the area hospital in Miryalaguda for treatment.
