Three killed in head-on collision between two cars in Nalgonda

Three persons were killed in a head-on collision involving two passenger cars near Muthyalammagudem in Nalgonda district on Friday. The victims died on the spot, and their bodies were shifted to a hospital for postmortem examination.

Nalgonda: Three persons died on the spot when two passenger cars were involved in a headon collision at Muthyalammagudem here in the early hours of Friday. The deceased have been identified as Tamsayya (50), Prakash Rao (40), residents of Hyderabad. Another deceased person is identified as Sai Kumar.

The incident occurred when a Maruti Swift car, which was heading towards Nagarjunasagar from Hyderabad, collided with another passenger car, which travelling towards Peddapur from Nagarjunasagar. Such was the impact of the collision that Tamsayya and Prakash Rao travelling in Swift car and Sai Kumar travelling in another car died on the spot.

The bodies have been shifted to Kamala Nehru Hospital for postmortem, reports said.
