Thunderstorms and gusty winds to continue across Telangana till Saturday
Thunderstorms with gusty winds and a drop in temperatures are expected to continue across Telangana till Saturday. The IMD has issued warnings for several districts, forecasting light to moderate rain and fluctuating temperatures over the next few days.
Hyderabad: The ongoing spell of thunderstorms accompanied by a drop in temperatures and gusty winds is expected to continue till Saturday.
The IMD Hyderabad, in its forecast on Thursday, said light to moderate rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at isolated places over Telangana, with maximum temperatures likely to be below normal by 2 to 4 degree Celsius for the first three days and above normal by 2 to 4 degree Celsius during the next three days.
For Friday, the weather department has issued a thunderstorm accompanied by lightning and gusty winds warning specifically for Adilabad, Kumuram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagtial, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Mahabubabad, Warangal and Hanumakonda.
For Saturday, the forecast indicates light to moderate rain or thundershowers at isolated places, apart from a thunderstorm warning for Kumuram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Mahabubabad, Warangal, Hanumakonda, Jangaon and Yadadri Bhuvanagiri.
