Thunderstorms disrupt normal life in erstwhile Khammam district
The sudden downpour disrupted normal life and many thoroughfares and low lying areas were inundated with rain wates.
Khammam: Several parts of erstwhile Khammam district have been witnessing thunderstorms since Wednesday night.
Khammam and Kothagudem district headquarters, Bhadrachalam, Paloncha, Palair, Penuballi, Sathupalli, Cherla and other mandals received moderate rainfall on Thursday.
The sudden downpour disrupted normal life and many thoroughfares and low lying areas were inundated with rain waters. The residential areas in 35th division and a few other divisions in Khammam city were flooded with rain water.
