Thunderstorms to continue across Telangana for one more week
Severe thundershowers with lightning and gusty winds are likely to continue across Telangana for another week, IMD Hyderabad said. While evening temperatures may dip slightly, daytime temperatures in over 20 districts will remain high, with alerts issued for multiple regions.

Hyderabad: Severe spells of thundershowers accompanied by lightning and gusty winds are expected to continue across multiple districts of Telangana for one more week, according to a forecast from the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Hyderabad, issued on Monday evening.
Under the spell of intense thunderstorms, evening temperatures might drop by a degree or two. However, the daytime maximum temperatures in more than 20 districts will hover between 40 degrees Celsius and 44 degrees Celsius.
The IMD, Hyderabad has issued a severe thunderstorm alert along with gusty winds of 40 to 50 kmph (Orange alert) on Tuesday for Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Mahabubabad, Sangareddy and Kamareddy districts.
“Light to moderate rain or thundershowers are very likely to occur at isolated places over Telangana. Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds of 40 to 50 kmph are likely to continue.”
The yellow (medium intensity) alert for thunderstorms and lightning for this week was issued by IMD, Hyderabad for the next three to four days for multiple districts including Adilabad, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Hanumakonda, Hyderabad, Jangaon, Jogulamba Gadwal, Kamareddy, Khammam, Komuram Bheem Asifabad, Mahabubabad, Mahabubnagar, Mancherial, Medak, Medchal-Malkajgiri, Nagarkurnool, Nalgonda, Narayanpet, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Rangareddy, Sangareddy, Siddipet, Suryapet, Vikarabad, Wanaparthy, Warangal and Yadadri Bhuvanagiri.
