Kumram Bheem Asifabad: A tiger killed a cow of a farmer when it was grazing in the forests of Papanpet village in Bejjur mandal on Monday. Foresters said that the cow belonging to Manepalli Sattaiah was found dead after being attacked by the carnivore in the beat of Papanpet forests. It was yet to be ascertained whether the domestic animal was killed when it was a part of a herd or alone. Officials of the Forest department requested the shepherds not to take the cattle deep inside the wild.
Pasula Nirmala (18) was mauled to death by a tiger when she was engaged in harvesting of cotton on the outskirts of Kondapalli village on November 29. A big cat killed another tribal boy Sidam Vignesh (22) when he was fishing in a stream at Digida village in Dahegaon mandal of the district on November 11.
