Tiger sighted near railway cabin, triggers panic among motorists in Asifabad

Kumram Bheem Asifabad: A tiger was sighted at a railway cabin at a railway crossing near Vempalli village in Sirpur (T) mandal on Tuesday, triggering panic among motorists.
A lineman belonging to India Railways reportedly saw the tiger and recorded it on his mobile phone. He shared the video clip with staffers of the Railways who in turn informed officials of the Forest department about the presence of the tiger. Motorists using the railway crossing expressed concern over safety following movement of the tiger.
Meanwhile, locals alleged that a calf was killed by a tiger while it was tied to a wooden pole at a house at Hudkili village in Sirpur (T) mandal. Locals said that they were living in the grip of fear due to the movement of the tiger in the forests.
