TN launches ‘anywhere registration’ system for online document services
Tamil Nadu has launched the "Anywhere Registration" system allowing citizens to register eligible documents online without visiting sub-registrar offices. Once approved, digitally signed documents will be delivered online and via WhatsApp, streamlining property and loan-related registration processes
Chennai: The Tamil Nadu government on Sunday launched the “Anywhere Registration” system to simplify document registration procedures. According to a release issued by the state secretariat, the facility enables people to register documents online from anywhere at any time without visiting a sub-registrar’s office.
Once registration is approved by the sub-registrar, the digitally signed document will be sent to the user’s account and shared via WhatsApp to the registered mobile number.
The parties concerned can download the document through their respective user accounts, it said. As per the guidelines, documents eligible for registration under the system include first sale deeds of plots, first sale deeds of apartments or flats, Tamil Nadu Housing Board sale documents, and mortgage and receipt documents related to bank loans.
Users can create login accounts on the Registration Department’s website and submit the required documents online, the release added.
