Traffic advisory: One-way trial near KBR Park for H-CITI project

Hyderabad traffic police will enforce restrictions around Banjara Hills and Jubilee Hills on April 5 due to ongoing works under the H-CITI project. Roads near KBR Park will follow a one-way trial system between 11 am and 1 pm to facilitate construction of a steel flyover and underpass. Citizens are advised to plan ahead, use navigation apps, and consider public transport or carpooling.

Hyderabad: In view of ongoing infrastructure works under the Hyderabad City Innovative and Transformative Infrastructure (H-CITI) project, traffic restrictions will be imposed in parts of Banjara Hills and Jubilee Hills on April 5.

Accordingly, roads surrounding KBR Park will operate under a one-way trial system between 11 am and 1 pm, to facilitate the construction of a steel flyover and underpass.


According to traffic police, commuters travelling from NFCL towards SNT, Sagar Society, KBR Park entrance, and Jubilee Hills check post, Road No. 36, Road No. 45, and the Durgam Cheruvu Cable Bridge are advised to take a diversion via NTR Bhavan, Basavatarakam Cancer Hospital, Agrasen Island and Omega Hospital before reaching their destinations.

Similarly, motorists from Yousufguda and Srinagar Colony towards Jubilee Hills and Madhapur should take Indiranagar Gadda Road (Road No. 5), proceed to Venkatagiri Junction and continue via Road No. 10 and Al-Cazar towards Road No. 36 and Road No. 45.

Hyderabad Traffic officials clarified that no ‘U-turns’ will be allowed on designated routes during the trial period, and commuters must strictly follow left-side driving to ensure smooth exits. Traffic police personnel will be deployed on the ground, and signage will guide motorists along diversion routes.

Citizens are requested to plan their travel in advance, use navigation apps for real-time updates or opt for public transport and carpooling.
