Traffic curbs in Hyderabad for marathon on August 24

The Hyderabad Traffic Police have announced restrictions from 4:30 am to 9 am on August 24 for the Hyderabad Runners Marathon. The run starts at People’s Plaza and ends at G M C Balayogi Stadium, with diversions on major routes

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Traffic Police have announced traffic restrictions in view of the Hyderabad Runners Marathon scheduled on August 24, from 4:30 am to 9:00 am.

The run will start at People’s Plaza, PVNR Marg, and conclude at G M C Balayogi Stadium, Gachibowli, passing through Hussain Sagar, Punjagutta, KBR Park, Jubilee Hills check-post, and Durgam Cheruvu Cable-Stayed Bridge.

Officials said several key diversions will be in place around Hussain Sagar, Necklace Rotary, Panjagutta, Raj Bhavan Road, Jubilee Hills, and Road No. 45.

Traffic from Punjagutta, Liberty, Musheerabad, Ranigunj, and Srinagar Colony will be diverted at designated points until the marathon route is cleared.

Commuters are advised to avoid the marathon route during the event and use alternative roads. In case of emergencies, citizens can call the traffic helpline 9010203626 for assistance.
