Traffic diversions announced for Holi Mahela in Hyderabad

Hyderabad traffic police issued an advisory announcing diversions on Wednesday due to Holi Mahela and a Sikh religious procession from Central Gurudwara to Barambala Gurudwara, Attapur. Commuters have been advised to follow alternative routes during the procession hours

Hyderabad: The traffic police issued an advisory for Wednesday in view of Holi Mahela and the Sikh religious procession. There will be traffic diversion as the procession commences at 3.30 pm from Central Gurudwara and proceeds towards Barambala Gurudwara, Attapur via Shankar Sher Hotel – Mahbubgunj – SA Bazar Mosque – Barthan Bazar – Swasti Mirchi – Begum Bazar Chatri – Chudi Bazar – Rani Avanthi Bai Statue – Tukkerwadi T-Junction – Gandhi Statue – Purana Pool X Road – Purana Pool Darwaza – Gurudwara Kishanbagh.

The following are the traffic diversions: Traffic coming from Afzalgunj towards MJ Market will be diverted at Afzalgunj T-junction towards Central Library.


Vehicles coming from MJ Market towards Afzalgunj will be diverted at MJ Market towards MusalamJung Bridge while the procession is crossing SA Bazar Mosque. Traffic coming from MJ Bridge towards Chatri will be diverted at MJ Bridge towards Jummerath Bazar or Dental College while the procession is crossing Chatri. Traffic coming from 100 Feet Road, Jiyaguda or Karwan towards Purana Pool Darwaza will be diverted at Purana Pool X Road towards Jummerath Bazar – MJ Bridge. Vehicles coming from Gandhi Statue towards Purana Pool Darwaza will be diverted at Purana Pool X Road towards 100 Feet Road.
