Traffic diversions in Hyderabad for War 2 pre-release event on August 10

The Hyderabad Traffic Police issued traffic diversions for the War 2 pre-release event scheduled on August 10 at Yousufguda Battalion Police Lines. Commuters have been advised to avoid routes near Kotla Vijaya Bhasker Reddy Stadium to prevent delays.

Hyderabad: Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Traffic Police issued an advisory in view of the pre-release event of the film War 2, scheduled to be held from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Sunday (August 10, 2025) at the Yousufguda Battalion Police Lines in Hyderabad.

ā€œA large number of people will attend the pre-release function. Moderate traffic congestion is expected on roads with visitors and their vehicles around Kotla Vijaya Bhasker Reddy (KVBR) Stadium. To avoid inconvenience, commuters are advised to avoid movement towards Kotla Vijaya Bhasker Reddy Stadium,ā€ the police release stated.


As per the advisory, traffic coming from Jubilee Hills Check Post and heading towards Kotla Vijaya Bhasker Reddy Stadium will be diverted at Krishna Nagar Junction towards Srinagar Colony and Panjagutta.

Vehicles from Maitrivanam Junction and proceeding towards Jubilee Hills Check Post and Madhapur will be diverted at Yousufguda Basti towards RBI Quarters, Krishna Nagar Junction, and onwards to Jubilee Hills Check Post.

Traffic from Maitrivanam Junction towards Borabanda Bus Stop will be diverted at Savera Function Hall via Krishnakanth Park, GTS Temple, Kalyan Nagar, and Mothi Nagar before reaching Borabanda.

Vehicles from Borabanda Bus Stop towards Maitrivanam Junction will be diverted at Prime Garden in Kalyan Nagar via Midland Bakery, GTS Colony, Kalyan Nagar Junction, Umesh Chandra Statue U-turn, ICICI U-turn, and onwards to Maitrivanam.
