Hyderabad: A breakthrough technology for treatment of urinary incontinence Emsella, specially targeted for women, was recently launched at the clinic of noted gynaecologist Dr Manjula Anagani in Banjara Hills. The new technology, which was inaugurated by filmmaker Nandini Reddy, promises a fully non-invasive option for those suffering from incontinence.
On the occasion, Nandini Reddy said that several women often suffer from urinary incontinence silently, as they struggle to share their medical condition out of shyness or other inhibitions. Many are not even aware about existing treatment options including a minor surgery that could treat it.
Dr. Manjula Anagani urged women to make use of the facility and get rid of urinary incontinence in a non-invasive way. She said six gynaecologists have come together to form a group ‘Team Elite Gynae’ to introduce new technologies and as part of this initiative, the Emsella technology has been launched in Hyderabad.
The Emsella chair is treatment that helps men or women suffering from urinary incontinence and mothers with stress incontinence following child birth, according to a press release.
