Huzurabad: Police had to intervene and calm down frenzied workers of the BJP and the TRS who indulged in heavy slogan shouting and jostling during the visit of BJP candidate Eatala Rajendar and Union Minister G Kishan Reddy in Sirsedu village on Friday.
Noisy scenes were witnessed as the BJP workers raised slogans against the TRS chief and Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao as they were passing by the TRS office. The ruling party workers who were also present in good numbers raised counter slogans and soon it led to a slogan war and jostling began. Policemen on duty intervened and separate the political parties workers.
