Karimnagar: Finance Minister T Harish Rao assured that people from the Vishvabrahmana community would be provided alternate employment opportunities and given loans through Vishvabrahmana Corporation.
Stating that community people had lost their jobs due to corporate jewellery shops, he assured to provide employment by giving training in Industrial park.
Harish Rao laid the foundation for the construction of Vishvakarma Manumaya Bhavan in Huzurabad on Thursday. Speaking on the occasion, he said the Telangana government was giving top priority to the Vishvabrahmana community people.
TRS leader from the community, Ch Madhusudhana Chary got an opportunity to work as the first speaker of the Telangana Assembly. A similar kind of opportunity would also be given to the community very soon.
Terming Vishvakarmas as traditional engineers, he opined that they would create wonders if adequate opportunities were provided. Steps have been taken not to register cases on the community people in the name of stolen gold and forest officials’ raids on carpenters. Community people who have their own house sites would be sanctioned double bedroom houses, he assured.
Though 5,000 houses were sanctioned to the Huzurabad constituency, not a single house was completed due to the negligence of BJP leader Eatala Rajender, who worked as Minister till the recent past.
Rajender was given the opportunity for 17 years, he said and appealed to the people to give one chance to TRS candidate Gellu Srinivas Yadav. The development, which has not been neglected in the last 17 years, would be done within two years if Srinivas Yadav was elected, he promised.
BJP was not in power in the State and there was no chance for the party to come to power in the future. Though it was in power in the Center, it has done nothing except enhancing the prices of essential commodities such as diesel, petrol, cooking gas, edible oils and selling public sector undertakings.
Moreover, about 2 lakh jobs were declined in the railway department after BJP came to power at the centre. Rajender was promising to give Rs 30,000 per vote. Instead of giving money, BJP leaders should take steps to decrease the prices of essential commodities by convincing the Union government.
BJP leaders have no right to talk about social justice since the Union government is least bothered about the State government’s request to provide reservations for BCs in elected bodies. Other demands such as the constitution of the separate ministry for BCs and BC enumeration have also been neglected by the BJP government.
When the price of cooking gas was hiked in the Congress regime, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had advised the people to greet gas cylinders with folded hands and give the vote to BJP. Now, they were also repeating the same dialogue asking the people to greet the cylinder with folded hands and exercise votes to TRS in Huzurabad.
