TRS to organise Rythu Bandhu celebrations

Hyderabad: The Telangana Rashtra Samithi, marking the milestone achievement of distribution of Rs 50,000 crore into the bank accounts of farmers under Rythu Bandhu scheme since its launch, will organise a week-long celebrations commencing Monday.
The milestone will be achieved on January 10 when the last tranche of Rythu Bandhu amount in its eighth phase will be deposited into the bank accounts of farmers. Addressing the party leaders through teleconference on Sunday, TRS working president and Minister KT Rama Rao, hailing Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao for the scheme, directed them to hold the celebrations, adhering to Covid norms and restrictions.
In 70 years of independent India, he said no other Chief Minister or Prime Minister had implemented such a revolutionary scheme for the socio-economic development and welfare of farmers. “Such a large sum has never been deposited directly into the bank accounts of the beneficiaries under any scheme in the country. The historic moment should be celebrated by all of us,” he said.
