TRSMA urges Telangana govt to continue aid for teachers

Telangana Recognised School Managements Association urged government to continue the financial assistance of Rs 2,000 and 25 kgs of rice to teachers

Hyderabad:  Telangana Recognised School Managements Association (TRSMA) has urged the State government to continue the financial assistance of Rs 2,000 and 25 kgs of rice to teachers working in the budget private schools until the regular physical classes resume in the State.

In a statement on Friday, TRSMA founder and president Kandala Papi Reddy and general secretary SN Reddy appealed to the government to announce the academic calendar for the academic year 2021-22.


They also sought waiver of property tax for entire Covid-19 pandemic period and wanted the government to issue health cards besides allocating 2BHK houses to teachers of the budget private schools.

The TRSMA members also wanted the government for a complete reduction of tax on the schools buses and water CESS. They sought conversion of electricity slab category from second to seventh for the schools.
