Kothagudem: A former ZPTC member Batta Vijay Gandhi of Burgampahad in the district was expelled from TRS party for indulging in anti-party activities. The decision was taken at the TRS Burgampahad mandal committee meeting on Saturday. It was said that Gandhi had secretly met Telangana Congress party president A Revanth Reddy along with Mulugu MLA Seethakka recently. Since his acts were confusing TRS cadres in the mandal and damaging the party interests it was decided to take disciplinary measures against him and expel him from the TRS party, said a statement.
