Hyderabad: BJP general secretary and Telangana in-charge Tarun Chugh called upon party workers on Sunday to strengthen the party from the polling booth level and work for its victory in the Assembly elections in 2023.
“It is the responsibility of every activist to ensure that there are at least 25 workers in every village and 10 workers for every polling booth to work for the party,” he said, speaking at the State Executive Committee meeting here.
“We should fight elections and emerge victorious to form the government and work for the welfare of the poor,” he said, and urged the party workers to ensure that the lotus blooms in Telangana State in 2023.
Before the Assembly elections, workers should be prepared for ‘semester exam’ in the form of municipal elections in Warangal and Khammam apart from bypoll to Nagarjunasagar Assembly constituency and MLC elections to Warangal-Nalgonda-Khammam and Mahabubnagar-Hyderabad-Rangareddy graduates’ constituencies, he said.
Union Minister of State for Home Affairs G Kishan Reddy underscored the need to work unitedly to take forward the party’s activities. Telangana State BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar said every party follower should work with commitment and discipline to ensure BJP’s victory in 2023 polls.
