Hyderabad: Telangana reported 177 new Covid infections and one fatality on Thursday taking the cumulative number of deaths to 4018 and the total number of positive cases so far to 6, 80, 251. The number of active cases in Telangana, as on Thursday, was 3,596.

The authorities on Thursday conducted 38, 219 Covid tests of which results of 4, 470 samples were awaited. A total of 190 individuals have recovered with a recovery rate of 98.88 per cent on Thursday.


So far, a total of 2, 94, 33, 907 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 6, 80, 251 have tested positive and 6, 72, 637 persons have recovered.

The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts included three from Bhadradri Kothagudem, 93 from areas under GHMC, one from Kamareddy, three from Karimnagar, four from Khammam, five from Mahabubnagar, three from Mahabubabad, two from Mancherial, nine from Medchal-Malkajgiri, five from Nalgonda, four each from Nizamabad and Peddapalli, one from Rajanna Siricilla, 16 from Rangareddy, seven from Sangareddy, four from Siddipet, one each from Vikarabad, Wanaparthy and Warangal Rural,
seven from Hanumakonda and three from Yadadri Bhongir.
