Hyderabad: The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) in collaboration with the Telangana State Council of Science & Technology (TSCOST) here on Friday organized a meeting for strengthening the Science Technology and Innovation (STI) Ecosystem of Telangana through center-state collaboration.
Department of Science and Technology, Secretary, Dr. Srivari Chandrasekhar spoke on the possible focus areas for initiating collaborative measures to strengthen science, technology and innovation ecosystem in the State.
He said Telangana was endowed with several institutions of repute and a huge knowledge work pool was available in the university system.
Special Chief Secretary to Government (Irrigation & Command Area Development, Science and Technology department), Dr. Rajat Kumar stressed the need for strong industry–university interaction. He instructed officials of the TSCOST to work out a roadmap to strengthen the STI Ecosystem in Telangana with active support of the DST.
TSCHE Chairman, Prof. R Limbadri assured that the TSCHE in collaboration with TSCOCT would strengthen science and technology eco-system in the State with the support of DST.
Education department secretary, Sandeep Kumar Sultania, TSCHE vice-chairman, Prof. V Venkata Ramana, TSCOST member secretary, Nagesh and others were present.
