TSICET-2021 notification issued, test scheduled on August 19, 20

Warangal Urban: Kakatiya University (KU) will conduct the TSICET –2021 (Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test) on August 19 and 20 at 60 centres across the State. KU Controller of Examinations Prof S Mahender Reddy along with TSICET-2021 convener Prof K Raji Reddy and others released the TSICET –2021 notification at the University campus here on Saturday.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof Mahender Reddy said Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE), Hyderabad had entrusted the responsibility of conducting TSICET-2021 examination to the KU again for making admissions into MBA/MCA courses for the academic year 2021-22. “The Kakatiya University is taking all steps to conduct TSICET-2021 online. About 60 centres under 14 regional centres have been identified to conduct the examination on August 19 and 20 this year in three sessions,” he said.
Further, he added that registration and submission of online applications will begin from April 7 with a fee of Rs 450 for SC/ST/differently abled candidates and Rs 650 for others. The last date for registration and submission of online application forms without late fee is June 15. The late fee will be collected in addition to the fee collected towards registration and submission of online applications. Candidates can register and submit their online applications with a late fee of Rs 250 on or before June 30, Rs 500 on or before July 15, and Rs 1,000 on or before August 11.
Correction of online application (data already submitted by the candidates) will be allowed from August 8 to 11, and the applicants can download their hall tickets from August 13 onwards. “The preliminary key will be announced on August 27 and candidates can submit their objections on preliminary key till August 31. The results will be announced on September 17,” Prof Reddy said.
The online application format, instructions, syllabus and model paper will be similar to the preceding examinations of TSICET. The qualifying marks percentage is 25 percent for all candidates other than SC and ST categories for whom there is no minimum qualifying marks.
There are 267 colleges offering MBA course (32,337 sets) and 35 colleges offering MCA course (2,491 sets) in Telangana State for the academic year 2020-21. The detailed information regarding the eligibility, syllabus and model paper, related instructions, procedure for online submission of applications, online examination, the list of online examination centers and mock tests are available on the website https://icet.tsche.ac.in.
