Hyderabad: The bus stations in the city are heavily crowded due to the festive rush of passengers heading home in the Telugu States for Sankranti.
For the safety of all passengers, drivers and conductors, Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) are taking every step to ensure strict adherence to Covid-19 precautions. With the Covid cases rising daily, TSRTC has imposed Rs 50 fine for all the travelers who are found at the bus station without mask.
TSRTC is operating a total of 4,318 buses between Hyderabad and various destinations in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and other neighbouring States, during the Sankranti season. To ensure smooth running, the corporation has deployed 200 officers and employees at various bus stations, including Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station (MGBS), Central Bus Station (CBS), Jubilee Bus Station (JBS) and LB Nagar.
