Hyderabad: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) here on Saturday arrested Telangana State Southern Power Distribution Company (TSSPDCL) line inspector and lineman for allegedly demanding and accepting a bribe from a complainant Mulavath Laxman of Madhapur for doing an official favour.

The bribe was demanded by TSSPDCL’s line inspector Prabhakar Rao along with Satish. Following instructions from Rao, Satish reportedly accepted the bribe, according to a press release issued by the ACB.
Both Rao and Satish were working at the office of Assistant Engineer (Operations) in Madhapur. The ACB officials recovered the tainted amount from the possession of Satish and fingers of his hands tested positive in the chemical test. They produced Rao and Satish before the special court for ACB cases here. The officials asked people to call the toll free number 1064 if any public servant demands a bribe.
