Hyderabad: TSSPDCL CMD G Raghuma Reddy on Monday said a control room was set up at the SCADA office to monitor the power situation in the wake of heavy rainfall predicted due to the impact of cyclone ‘Gulab’.
Three Chief Engineers, who will be in the control room, will coordinate with other officials at the field-level and supervise the power situation. Instructions were also issued to inspect colonies and slums abutting Musi River.
In all, 2,000 employees from the disaster management teams of the Energy department will be on duty to deal with any situation.
