Mancherial: A student of Telangana Social Welfare Centre of Excellence (TSWR CoE) achieved admission into the prestigious National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management (NIFTEM), Sonipat of Haryana, by excelling in Joint Entrance Examination (JEE)-2021. The results of the fifth round counselling of seat allocation were declared on Monday.
Inala Saidulu, principal of TSWR CoE said that Doli Mallikarjun, who studied Intermediate (MPC) at the institution, was shortlisted by NIFTEM to pursue Bachelor of Technology in Food Technology and Management course. Already, Durgam Ranjith and Nandanakari Saiteja of this centre got seats into NITs by performing well in JEE. This means, three students secured an opportunity to study higher education in the premiere institutions of the country, he stated.
A native of remote Cherukuguda village in Jannaram mandal, Mallikharjun is the first youngster of the habitation to have cracked an admission into NIT. He is the youngest son of Mallesh and Buchchavva, a financially poor family. He said that he would like to become an entrepreneur in food technology with the help of the course. He thanked teachers and officials for encouraging him.
TSWR Adilabad Regional Coordinating Officer (RCO) Koppula Swarupa Rani, Assistant RCO K Maheshwar Rao, lecturers Sriramavarma, P Ashok, M Mukteshwar, K Ravinder, non-teaching staffers congratulated the achiever. Swarupa praised the principal and his team for producing talented students from the institution. She added that students of the centre were excelling in academics and were bringing recognition to the institution.
Meanwhile, Bellampalli MLA Durgam Chinnaiah congratulated Mallikharjun over the phone. He patted the teaching staff for striving hard to provide quality education to the students.
