Sangareddy: A team of Transco officials led by ADE Madhusudhan and AE Sarala visited the farm of farmer Kolly Kishorebabu at Edulapally in Jharasangam mandal on Thursday following a news report published in Telangana Today on Tuesday. The borewell motors at his field were burnt six times in the last 18 months due to voltage fluctuations, which made the farmer write a letter to Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy.
Furthermore, he also complained to Revanth Reddy over frequent power cuts in his area. Telangana Today had highlighted his struggles in a news report published in these columns, which attracted the attention of Transco officials. Speaking to Telangana Today, AE Sarala said that they will install a capacitor in the area to stabilise voltage fluctuations. Since the farmer also requested an increase in the height of electric lines, which were hanging very low and passing through his field, the Transco officials accepted his appeal. Farmer Kishore Babu thanked Telangana Today for highlighting his struggles.
