Hyderabad: A student of the Telangana Tribal Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (TTWREIS) has secured admission in the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Raipur.
Badavth Soni who is studying in the final year MPCs degree course at the TTWRDC Nizamabad has secured a seat in the PGP programme in the IIM Raipur for 2021. She is the daughter of Laxman and Vijayamma, who work as agricultural labourers and hail from Manchippa Village in Nizamabad district, the Society said on Saturday.
According to Soni, joining the MPCs group at the TTWRDC Nizamabad was the turning point in her life and her dream turned into a reality because of the intensive coaching offered for the CAT aspirants by the Society. Earlier, she was selected under the AISEC programme to visit Egypt in March 2020. However, she had to return to India due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Society has, so far, helped several students from the marginalised sections in achieving their dream of getting admissions in prestigious institutions including IIMs, Indian Institutes of Technology, National Institutes of Technology, All India Institutes of Medical Science.
