Khammam: Journalists in erstwhile Khammam were urged to attend a meeting of the Telangana Union of Working Journalists (TUWJ) to be held on March 7 in Hyderabad.
Speaking at a preparatory meeting here on Friday, Union State leaders PV Srinivas and Syed Ismail called upon the journalist community to come together under the leadership of Telangana State Media Academy chairman Allam Narayana.
The Hyderabad meeting was expected to be attended by IT, MA&UD Minister KT Rama Rao. Issues pertaining to the journalist fraternity would be discussed and efforts would be made to find a solution to these issues at the meeting, they said.
TUWJ erstwhile Khammam district office-bearers Akuthota Adinarayana, Syed Ismail, K Srinivas, Video Journalists Association leader Yakub Pasha and others were present.
