Two arrested in Hyderabad with 15g cocaine; drugs sourced from Mumbai

HNEW and Langer Houz police arrested two persons in Hyderabad, seizing 15 grams of cocaine. One accused had been sourcing drugs from Mumbai for five months, selling to local clients. Police are tracking the suppliers.

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Narcotics Enforcement Wing (HNEW) along with the Langer Houz police on Thursday caught two persons and seized 15 grams of cocaine from them.

Acting on a tip off, the team caught Mohit Sanjay Mehra, who was procuring the cocaine from some persons in Mumbai and selling it in the city to local customers. “Since five months Mohit was into the business and earned huge profits,” said Y V S Sudheendra, DCP Task Force.. A customer Nagaram Jason Raj alias Jason who was regularly buying cocaine from Mohit was also arrested.

A case is registered under NDPS Act against Mohit and Nagaram. Investigation is on to identify the persons from whom Mohit was procuring the drugs.
