Hyderabad: The Bachupally police caught two persons involved in a dozen automobile theft cases here on Saturday. Police recovered 11 motorcycles, all together worth nearly Rs 9 lakh from them.
The arrested persons were identified as R Raju (24), a painter from Yellammabanda and T Mahender (24), a driver from Chevella in Ranga Reddy district. Police said the two did a recce of secluded residential colonies in the night and stole bikes, which were later sold off.
They were allegedly involved in thefts in Bachupally, Narsingi, Bollarum and other places in Sangareddy district, officials said.
The arrested were produced before court and remanded in judicial custody.
