The Jagathgirigutta Police arrested five men for allegedly stealing 22 motorcycles across Hyderabad, recovering bikes worth Rs 42 lakh. The gang, led by Sridhar, targeted vehicles in multiple areas and sold them to a receiver in Guntur.

Jawaharnagar police arrested three youths allegedly addicted to gambling for a series of two-wheeler thefts. Thirteen stolen motorcycles were recovered, and the suspects, including a repeat offender, were remanded to judicial custody after intensified surveillance.

The arrested person Mohammed Ismail, a resident of Sangareddy moved around colonies and after identifying the bikes parked at isolated places used to steal it, said DCP Balanagar,K Suresh Kumar.

The arrested persons are Motukuri Sunny (22), Kumapati Dileep (21), Vallepu Nani (20) all residents of Keesara, Meesala Prem Kumar (22) and Nakka Shekar (21), both from Jagtial.
