Two Bihar labourers dead, 10 injured in Telangana accident
According to police, the labourers work in Parameshwar rice mill in Keshapatnam. On Wednesday evening, they went to Rajarajeshwara parboiled rice mill to unload paddy.
Karimnagar: Two labourers from Bihar died and 10 others were injured when the tractor in which they were travelling was hit by a lorry near Shankarapatnam in the district late on Wednesday night.
While Manoj (35) and Vithu (22) died on the spot, 10 others were injured in the accident.
According to police, the labourers work in Parameshwar rice mill in Keshapatnam. On Wednesday evening, they went to Rajarajeshwara parboiled rice mill to unload paddy.
After unloading, they were on the way back to their work spot when a lorry coming from the opposite direction rammed the tractor on the outskirts of Shankarapatnam. About 20 labourers were traveling in the tractor when the accident took place.
On getting information about the incident, sub-inspector Thirupati rushed to the spot and shifted the injured labourers to Huzurabad area hospital.
