Two children drown in well while fishing in Nalgonda

Nalgonda: Two schoolchildren drowned after falling into a well while fishing at Khajiramaram village in Nalgonda mandal on Saturday evening.
The deceased were identified as Lucky, son of Boluguru Naresh, and Pandu, son of Bongarala Shankar.
According to reports, the children went to a nearby well for fishing immediately after school. While attempting to catch fish, they accidentally slipped into the well and drowned.
When the children failed to return home by nightfall, worried family members and villagers began searching for them. Their movements were traced through CCTV footage in the village, following which the police and other officials were alerted.
After partially draining the water from the well, rescue personnel recovered the bodies. The sight of the two children being found in each other’s embrace left their parents and villagers devastated.
