Hyderabad: After a brief overnight pause, rains returned to lash different parts of the city on Saturday.

Rains with thunderstorms started at 3.30 pm in Secunderabad, Tarnaka, Alwal, Bolarum, Kacheguda. Barkatpura, Kukatpally, Bowenpally, Chilkalguda, Lalapet, Nacharam, Habsiguda, Dilsukhnagar, Musheerabad, Banjara Hills and Jubilee Hills, Koti, Begum Bazar, Narayanguda, RTC X Roads, Amberpet, Erragadda and Yousufguda.

Knee-deep waterlogging under rail over bridge at Bible House caused inconvenience and affected the movement of commuters. On Saturday, the highest rainfall was recorded in Kapra (77.8 mm) while Kakatiya Hills (Madhapur) recorded the lowest of 2 mm
