Two devotees from Maharashtra drown in Sangareddy lake

Sangareddy: Two devotees of Multani Baba dargah drowned when they ventured into Gangvar lake on Tuesday. The deceased pilgrims were identified as Sanjay Kamde (50) and Sk Faheem (17) who hailed from Latur in Maharashtra.
They arrived at dargah on Monday with their family members.
Faheem, who ventured into the lake, had started drowning when Kamde attempted to rescue him also drowned. Faheem’s father Rahamatulla also ventured into the lake to save the duo. However, he couldn’t reach them in time.
While Kamde’s body was retrieved from the water, they could not find the body of Faheem till late in the evening. The Haddanur police is investigating.
