Two die after bike hits pedestrian in Shamshabad
Police said the woman, Sakri (45), a labourer from Chinna Shapur, was walking towards Shamshabad when Shyam (30) who was allegedly driving the bike in a rash and negligent manner hit her.
Hyderabad: A motorcycle went out of control and hit a woman pedestrian, killing both her and the bike rider as well on the spot in the Shamshabad Rural area around midnight on Tuesday.
Police said the woman, Sakri (45), a labourer from Chinna Shapur, was walking towards Shamshabad when Shyam (30) who was allegedly driving the bike in a rash and negligent manner hit her. Both Sakri and Shyam fell on the road and suffered grievous injuries and died on the spot.
The Shamshabad Rural police are investigating. Officials said it was yet to be ascertained if Shyam was driving under the influence of alcohol.
