Two die after speeding bike hits tree in Warangal

Warangal: Two youths died after a driver lost control over his two-wheeler and rammed into a roadside tree at Kistapuram village of Rayaparthi mandal of the district in the wee hours of Friday. The deceased were identified as Raju (20) and Anvesh (18).

According to reports, the duo were returning after taking part in a bathukamma festival in a nearby village when the accident took place. Raju was reportedly driving the bike at high speed and when they reached Kistapuram village he lost control of the bike and rammed into a tree.


Both of them died on the spot. Locals informed the police, who shifted the bodies to government hospital for postmortem.

A case has been registered and investigation is underway.
