Two die in bike crash near Kondapur in Sangareddy

Two youngsters died after their motorcycle rammed into a roadside tree near Kondapur in Sangareddy district early Sunday. The victims, returning from temple jathara festivities in Machepally, were not wearing helmets and sustained fatal head injuries in the crash.

Sangareddy: Reckless driving led to the death of two youngsters near Kondapur mandal headquarters in the early hours of Sunday. The duo was returning to their village after witnessing jathara festivities in a temple at Machepally.

On their way back to home, they hit their bike into a roadside tree near Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) museum near Kondapur. The deceased Vikram (27) and Anil (30), who did not wear helmets, died on the spot as they sustained serious head injuries.


The police registered a case. The bodies were taken to the government hospital in Sangareddy for a postmortem.
