Two die in road accident in Khammam

According to the police, the deceased, P. Ramu (46), along with his friends Krishna Murthy and Naresh from Danavaigudem in Khammam city's 59th municipal division, visited the Srisailam Temple for a darshan on Saturday.

Khammam: Two persons died and one injured in a road accident at Maddulapally of Khammam rural mandal in the district.

According to police the deceased P Ramu (46), his friends Krishna Murthy and Naresh of Danavaigudem in the 59th municipal division in Khammam city went to Srisailam Temple for a darshan on Saturday.


They returned home on Sunday and when they reached Maddulapally under Edulapuram Municipality limits by mid-night hours the car in which they were travelling went out of control and hit a roadside tree.

Ramu and Murthy died on the spot while Naresh suffered minor injuries and was being treated in a hospital in Khammam.
