Two die, two injured in car accident on NH-63 in Nizamabad
When the car trying to overtake a tractor on NH- 63 at Kukunuru crossroads of Velpuru mandal, an oncoming truck loaded with maize hit their vehicle
Nizamabad: Two persons died and two others were injured in a car accident occurred at Kukunoor crossroads in Velpur mandal when two pairs of couples going to attend a marriage.
Naveen and his wife Lavanya, Rajashekhar and his wife Ravali, who belong to Vemulawada of Rajanna-Siricilla district were travelling in a car to attend a marriage in Nizamabad town. When their car trying to overtake a tractor on NH- 63 at Kukunuru crossroads of Velpuru mandal, an oncoming truck loaded with maize hit their vehicle.
Car driver Srinivas and Naveen’s wife Lavanya died at the spot while Rajashekhar and his wife Ravali suffered injuries. Velpur police shifted the bodies and the injured to the local hospital and registered a case.
Police had to strive to extricate the body of driver Srinivas which was stuck in the mangled car by using cutters.
