Two drug peddlers arrested with 2.4 kg marijuana in Hyderabad
Hyderabad Task Force (Charminar) police arrested two drug peddlers and seized 2.4 kg of marijuana at Bhavani Nagar. The accused allegedly sourced the drugs from Nagpur and planned to sell them in the Old City. Investigation is underway to trace suppliers.
Hyderabad: The Task Force (Charminar) team, along with the local police, has arrested two drug peddlers and seized nearly 2.4 kgs of marijuana and other material at Talabkatta in Bhavani Nagar on Friday.
The suspects – Mohd Naseer, a rowdy-sheeter, and Mohd Mehraj Ali, allegedly procured the contraband from drug peddlers in Nagpur and intended to sell it in small packets to the consumers in the older parts of the city.
The case was booked, and efforts are on to trace the main drug supplier.
