Hyderabad: Two persons who were smuggling marijuana into the city were caught by the Hyderabad Commissioner’s Task Force (South) on Saturday. The police seized 50 kilograms of marijuana, a Toyota Innova car and mobile phones from them.
Acting on a tip off, the police caught Mohd Khader (26) and Mohd Mujeeb (31) while their associate Mohd Aziz is absconding. Khader, a native of Nalgonda ganged up along with Mujeeb, a resident of Chandrayangutta, and with the help of Aziz, they were smuggling marijuana into the city. Based on a tip-off, the police caught them at Falaknuma on Friday night.
Both the arrested persons along with the property were handed over to the Falaknuma police for further action.
