Hyderabad: The Miyapur police arrested two persons on charges of illegally selling Remdesivir injections in the black market here late on Sunday.

Police seized one Remdesivir injection vial from them. The arrested were identified as Sateesh Paladugu (35) and K Jagan Mohan Reddy (32). Police said the duo had procured the injection vials from dealers and were selling them at higher rates.


Based on a tip-off, the police laid a trap and nabbed them. They were produced before court and remanded in judicial custody.
