Two held for threatening SCCL officials with Maoist posters
Mallesh, Ilaiah confessed to committing offence to take revenge against his colleague Radhakarishna who abused him in presence of his family members for his poor performance
Mancherial: Two persons were arrested for allegedly pasting wall posters at a canteen of IK-IA underground mine in the name of banned Maoist party and terrorising officials of SCCL, at Indaram village in Jaipur mandal recently. Jaipur Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) G Narender produced the arrested persons before the media in Jaipur on Monday.
Providing details of the arrest, Narender said that the accused were identified as Dande Mallesh, an employee of the SCCL, and a resident Power House Colony in Godavarikhani of Peddapalli district and Badikela Ilaiah, a mason from Tilaknagar in Godavarikhani.
On being interrogated, Mallesh and Ilaiah confessed to committing the offence to take revenge against his colleague Radhakarishna who abused him in presence of his family members for his poor performance. He admitted that he affixed the posters to terrorise Radhakrishna and others for targeting him and complaining against him at higher officials.
The pump operator disclosed that he wanted to use the posters to frighten the authorities of SCCL who were harassing him for taking leaves and for threatening to suspend him at regular intervals. He stated that he had taken assistance of Ilaiah, a coal miner who was dismissed due to indiscipline and irregularity, in pasting the posters.
Narender commended Jaipur Sub-Inspector Ramakrishna, probationary SI Srikanth, constables Jithender, Subba Rao, Malla Reddy, Suresh Chandramohan for solving the mystery of the case in quick time.
