Two held in Medchal for series of motorcycle thefts; three bikes recovered
Medchal police arrested two persons involved in a series of motorcycle thefts and recovered three stolen bikes. The accused allegedly targeted parked vehicles at night, breaking locks before fleeing. They were caught during a vehicle check operation.
Hyderabad: The Medchal Police arrested two persons involved in a series of motorcycle thefts and recovered three stolen vehicles on Friday.
The arrested duo – K Srihari and P Ashok, both from Nizamabad targeted motorcycles parked in isolated areas during night, breaking open handle locks and fleeing with the vehicles. The stolen bikes were either used for further offences or kept for disposal.
The duo was caught during vehicle checking and the stolen vehicles were recovered.
